On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the Villages Men’s Fun Social Club welcomed the San Jose State University Choraliers to our luncheon event. We had twelve choir members representing outstanding soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voices along with Director Jeffrey Benson performing holiday songs in front of a packed house that included club members and their spouses/partners. The Choraliers have been considered one of America’s preeminent chamber choirs for the past 40 years, and this boffo performance confirmed that view!
The Choraliers have most recently performed with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, The Rolling Stones, Josh Groben, Dionne Warwick, Andrea Bocelli, and the Skywalker Orchestra. They give four major concerts each year in Silicon Valley in addition to their annual tours throughout the State of California. In addition, there are biennial international tours, with recent trips to Spain, Portugal, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Ireland, France, and England. The choir has produced ten critically acclaimed recordings including their most recent, A Choraliers Christmas. Their international concert tour experience includes multiple awards and trophy wins. The director, Jeffrey Benson made his international conducting debut with the Irish Chamber Orchestra and the Choraliers in Limerick, Ireland in 2016. He has also conducted at Carnegie Hall.
