Cam Inman on the 49ers

Cam Inman is a Bay Area native who grew up in Cupertino with the naive dream of becoming a sportswriter. He’s entering his 25th season covering the San Francisco 49ers and the NFL for the Bay Area News Group, which includes the San Jose Mercury News, a newspaper he used to deliver on his bicycle as a pre-teen. His second book, The Franchise: San Francisco 49ers, officially comes out on Sept. 24. It’s available for pre-order now at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Triumph Books. Cam is also a licensed Realtor for Compass’ Pleasanton office. He enjoys golfing (preferably as a guest at the local clubs), running (jogger-stroller champion with his firstborn), supporting local restaurants, and sampling IPAs from coast to coast. He and his wife, Jennifer Branchini, have raised three children in Pleasanton, including daughters currently attending UCLA Law and Point Loma Nazarene University, and a son who is a junior at Amador Valley High.
