Jeff Kramer presented San Jose ComedySportz

The Villages Men’s Fun Social Club hosted Jeff Kramer and San Jose ComedySportz. This group has performed at the San Jose Improv theater over the last thirty years.

Jeff, after finishing school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986, came West and started the local chapter of ComedySportz. He assembled his own performance crew starting in the Sunnyvale Bold Knight and moving to the San Jose Camera 3 theater in 2006, where he has performed over 6000 shows. Over the years, San Jose ComedySportz is the longest running show in Silicon Valley. The ComedySportz organization has exploded to 26 cities across the United States and Europe with the different city teams regularly traveling and competing with one another..  The cast performs improv acting requiring people to work together. ComedySportz forces two teams to compete for audience points in a variety of different improvised games. Everything is done on the fly, as the audience ticks off topics selected by a referee and the two teams compete for audience points. Improv doesn’t require athletic ability, but mental and emotional maturity is a must.
