Matt Maiocco is in his 31st season of covering the San Francisco 49ers. He reported on the team year-round for the Oakland Tribune, Contra Costa Times and Santa Rosa Press-Democrat before joining NBC Sports Bay Area in 2010. He has covered more than 650 NFL games in 58 different stadiums, including 14 Super Bowls.
Matt is one of just 50 voters for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He has written three books, including Letters of 87, a tribute to the late Dwight Clark with memories of The Catch.
Now Matt enters his first season as a studio analyst on 49ers Pregame Live and 49ers Postgame Live on NBC Sports Bay Area.
