Our speaker this month on June 4 was Bob Braunstein, executive producer of the 49ers Cal Hi Sports television show which highlights Bay Area high school sports.
Robert is a two time Emmy Award winning Executive Producer at 49ers Cal Hi Sports. This partnership with the San Francisco 49ers produces 49ers Cal-Hi Sports, a San Francisco Bay Area television show. The show airs each week on NBC Sports California starting with initial runs on Sunday nights at 6 pm.
With thousands of families watching each week the sponsors reach the rare group of parents and teens watching the same show together! That’s why major corporations and local businesses sponsor the show to reach this audience of active Northern California High School families every week.
The goal is to spotlight teens achieving positive goals.
Robert is an Almaden native, and graduate of Leland High School. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from San Jose State University and a Master’s in Journalism from the University of Missouri. This is his 32nd year of covering high school sports on television in the Bay Area. Athletes he has covered include Pat Tillman, Keri Walsh, Aaron Gordon, Brandon Crawford and Marshawn Lynch.
He has been married to Ann Braunstein for 36 years, with two Children Kelly and Daniel and his dog Mac.
